Yes, Koeman who went out in the Europa League qualifiers and achieved nowhere near Martinez's point total last season. How many here would be happy conceding a 2 goal lead to Leicester. I like Koeman, but he is nowhere near a direct and definite improvement.

You mean leicester who we had to scrape a draw in 2 games last season.
Koeman has worse players at southampton but they have an identity getting results

Who does he have to prove himself to? I'm bewildered by that remark. He's unassailable at the club itself. Who is he needing to convince?

Koeman has had one good season in the premier league finished seventh.. went out in Europe early. Too early judge him to be a great manager

It's not like that mate. I recognise that he's made mistakes and is stubborn and defence of his tactics doesn't mean he can do no wrong. It's clear though that some people think a footall team is like playing Football Manager and that we will be playing like Barcelona week in week out. We played against an Arsenal side that went top of the league and lost to two moments of error; I hope Howard is dropped but the most important thing int he last transfer window was to get new centre backs and wingers and hold onto Stones.
