Roberto Martinez discussion

it was the same with Sunderland.

We were pegged back there from two goals up before kicking in again.
Aye very similar, think what makes it seem so like a loss today was that we had clawed the goals back....only to conceed yet again. Ffs!

One pleasing difference from last season is that we don't seem to give up when we lose the lead - think we had the record last year for losing games from winning positions.

Our confidence is back and we don't allow heads to drop - just need to make sure we keep concentration as well as confidence as their second/third goals were sloppy ones to conceed.

Anyway, anger will abate in an hour or so ('anger' at an away draw FFS) and the facts will still be there:

7th in the table
Unbeaten in 5 games (15 goals scored)
Good cup run up and running
A squad of the most exciting players in the PL and only getting better

It's all good. ;)

Yeah it was a like for like sub, just wrong in my opinion.

They were doubling up on del when got close and even their left back had the best of the battle, him and kone could have sacrificed today

They were both tired after 60 mins and Martinez decided to keep them on. They don't even have much energy to chase the ball...

I'm still very much Martinez In, but I really want to see some genuine improvement, as that today just wasn't good enough.

Hopefully this is the kick up the bum Martinez needs to finally move the defensive responsibilities to someone else
I don't think anybody wants him sacked but he has a lot of work to do.
Only problem on here is you can't debate it,as soon as you give an opinionagainst martinez one of his spoons comes out talking rubbish.
I suppose a few on here have no life and sitting behind their keyboard day and night is all they have
