Sorry! All this talk of the ginger pleb, I had to remind myself that the golden spanish beauty is in fact the manager of Everton Football Club.

No

We still pass it out from the back and keep it on the deck 90% of the time, We are 5th for most possession in the league

We use Lukaku as a target man but that does not mean we have stopped playing the ball short and on the floor

I think you see this because in both the Arsenal game and the United game, Bobby change his tactics a bit to strike on the counter. We still weren't playing route 1 though. We were simply moving the ball through the midfield more quickly than normal.

I think those were unique choices against those particular clubs that were not expecting us to play that way. Tactical changes from our norm rather than the new norm.

From the sound of it you've only watched our match against Man Utd recently. The tactics in that match were similar to Rodgers in the derby, against Arsenal we were completely different.
 

Actually I do think there has been a change of tactics since we got beat by Liverpool. And learning from a defeat is a very good sign in a manager.
