Roberto Martinez discussion

Tonight proved Martlbez has no idea on balance. It's either attack or defend and hardly any proof of anything in between.

No Ian your wrong mate. I ain't Bobbys fan by any stretch ( and it's quite a long stretch that stretches back about 13 months ).

You csnt moan when he over attacks and then moan because he's tightened it up. We still had a few chances tonight to hit them on the break, played excellent 1st half. They came at us 2nd half which you would expect but we were solid.

Your out of order if you can't give credit for tonight's performance mate because it deserves credit.

He showed tactical awareness tonight. The team was much more compact while dangerous on the counter. We had chances in the first half and were within a whisker of going ahead with Osman's volley. Then the second half we shut up shop and got a well deserved draw (they should have had a penalty though)

Said as much a few days ago mate. Same again at Chelsea, I reckon then the shackles will come off.

shpould we though is the big question, we take the shackles off we go back to conceding 4 against [Poor language removed] like stoke and such mate, he needs to get his head around winning 2-0, 1-0 is acceptable rather than go for massive wins all the time which end up with us being carved open easier than a cake by a fat lass

75 points gained from last 177 avaliable, which means in a era where you get 3 points for a win, Mr. Martonez has Dropped 100 before he got to 76.

Sensational stuff that Every Evertonian should be proud of.
Just another post which sadly shows your hatred for RM
Tonight is a good point and ask any supporter in the Prem and they would gladly take a point at City
In previous posts it was asked that we shore the defence up, we have done this, but in doing this it will take some of our attacking options away.
Sometimes just show a little humility in your posts, tonight was a good night.

The team give what everybody has been asking for...

@davek, mate Pelligrini is knows as being one of the most tactically inflexible managers around, it took a very good game from Howard to get that point, let that sink in...

Subs of Kone and Pienaar showed the lack of a true depth in the squad we have, martinez set the team up well, but the determination and grit we showed came via Besic and the knock on effct he has had, much like martinez doesnt deserve the flack he gets when things go pear shape he shouldnt get all the credit tonight either - he was flawed and it as i said took a mom from howard to get that point

Bitterness will not let him be constructive mate
I stand by my comments over certain people wanting us to lose just so they can say 'I told you RM wasn't up for the job'
These posts by @ianefc prove his feelings and his agenda

Sad to be in a place where you don't want the best for the club

He was to busy watching the RS game to have a discussion about what went on in ours

I don't mind a lot of his posts tbh mate because I like some of his posts but like I said, I thought it was a great team performance with better balance and when we were under the cosh he changed it (probably about 6 minutes late for my liking lol) to try and wrestle back some foothold.

Credit where it's due, great point tonight.
