Roberto Martinez discussion

Did he say that? If he did, that's worrying. I never appreciate that attitude from professionals. Their attitude and performance shouldn't be influenced by the crowd. Even if the stadium was empty, they should be focusing and performing to their best of their abilities. If they are incapable of that, and if the manager can't motivate them enough, then that is an issue for the club, not the supporters.

If it's true, the supporters comments, then he really should be hoofed out tonight.

We are not the most singy songy crowd going, at home, and we do light to vent frustration quite vocally, but to lay some of the blame at the supporters door is cowardly and crossing the line. Ultimately we are more loyal than most but the amount of overtly sensitive behaviour from Martinez, Howard even Stones displays and arrogance, contempt and patronising attitude that I believe cannot be redeemed.

Some serious "Martinez Out" sentiment amongst the supporters outside the stadium today. I'm sure most will come back onside if we win on Wednesday, but it was certainly the most anti-Martinez I've seen a crowd in a long time
The fans showed that both at half time and full time and even during the match. I think he be gone if this takeover happens

Lucien Favre. Proven at working with tight budget and was succesfull at Hertha and Gladbach. He's an offensive coach as well, his teams playing with a great style and he's making some great signings.

Gladbach finished 3rd in his final full season. They did the double over Bayern Munich that season.

It all went wrong and he resigned following very bad results near the beginning of this season, but a very good manager who I think is actually better than Klopp.

Bye, you phenomenal clown.
Anger doesn't cover it. Unlucky with injuries? Keeping them players to 'star' in the second half of the season worked well.

Guys, there's no way he's getting sacked. It'll never happen, we couldn't afford to pay him off

If he didn't get the axe after dragging us into a relegation scrap, why do you think he'll get it when he's got us mid table and one game away from Wembley?

We just have to hope he keeps picking Robles in the Cups and that Liverpool don't win that other Semi Final

Mid table finish and a Cup win is not the end of the world

With a decent keeper from the start and an actual left sided winger, Martinez could probably get us doing even better than that

Exactly right.

He's delivered 3 home league wins all season, what does he expect? The crowd are frustrated by the performances of HIS side. For him to not recognise that fact and instead try and use the atmosphere as an excuse for his faulure is the action of a deluded wimp.
