Roberto Martinez discussion

He needs to man up and look at whats going wrong then manage the situation.
Nothing is changing and there is a pattern he needs to sort it.
He has time in the bank but since summer he has managed our team badly.
I agree Lukaku needs sorting since his signing he has lacked hunger and desire and looks a shadow of himself.
As for Howard he looks done but what have we got to compete with him another bad decision buying robles
We need to get back to basics and put the work in and not believe last seasons hype cos thats well gone now.

He isn't stupid mate...He knows what is going on...If you haven't noticed, we have been much more resilient at the back...He switched us to 433 to overcome that....Alot of our losses have come directly from individual errors, which he could never plan for seeing as though we were boss last season....It takes time to adjust, and he is obviously doing that, we have eradicated our [Poor language removed] defending, but that came at a cost of attacking threat.... Give him time to find a balance, it isn't going to happen over night....He has also had to deal with changing personnel due to injuries...Have faith in him...

He seems like one of the most intelligent people going around in football.... He wants to impose a style of play at Everton, and I am glad we have an identity...Not some must get result at all costs mentality...Its more than just results, its how you achieve them...What he has done outside of our first team (i.e academy structure, giving youth a chance) is a major positive which will massively benefit us in the future...Again, have faith..

We've invested heavily in the squad, what do you think happens if we finish bottom half?? Money

And finishing outside the top 6/7 is a disgrace considering the quality in our squad

We have Europe this season, we are having bad luck with injuries so the quality in our team are all out, we also have clubs who have spend massive amount of money like Man u and the rs to make sure they get back in the CL, we will be ok, its not the end of the world if we finished 8th and maybe win a Cup. :) Football can turn around in weeks, we could be enjoying ourselves in a month.

We've played awful for the majority of the games, I can accept injuries to a point but when we've got no desire or determination it becomes a whole new story

whatever, we have desire but desire and determination don't win games, skill and teamwork win games and we have lost our heart at the moment and players who have stepped in are struggling and is affecting our other key players like Baines and Lukaku.

Does he know whats going on though because we play the same every week.
Why are there so many mistakes are we unfit or is it a confidence issue i don't know but we play so much tippy tappy in our own half and pass the ball about so slowly mistakes are bound to happen.
Teams know if they press us we will make mistakes it has happened all season so its the managers job to change things.
We deserve to be in the bottom 4 but with the players we have we should be nowhere near there whats going wrong/
We have had injuries to key players and we miss ross more than most but he should have sorted that in the window knowing ross would be out for months.
I am losing faith in him mate because since summer he has been the exact opposite to last season and nothing is changing.

Desire and determination are team work and heart, and we have the skill in the team. Barry baines lukaku eto'o mirallas barry mccarthy have been regulars for us, and up till this game have been injury free. If thats not quality then our team is not good enough

Every side in Europe has struggled in the league following it.

City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs all look poor or lacklustre after Europe. Chelsea are the only side that seem to cope well

I'm in no doubts we'll finish top 7, just a shame that even at this early stage I think we've left ourselves too much to do for 4th place.

We need to focus on the FA Cup and Europe. Make those the priority and that'll define the season.

We simply are missing our core of key players. 6 first team players out, all of which are our key players and the core players our style is built on.
Mirallas with blistering pace down the wing putting fullbacks on their heels
Barkley with pace and power sucking in midfielders and defenders like flies running at them.
Coleman with ridiculous stamina to overlap and get into their box then get back into our box and so on ad infinitum
Pienaar with his canny ball retention and little assisting the assists
McCarthy with his desire to win the ball, like a energizer battery that never stops running
John Stones with calm composure on the ball and in the tackle, the 28year old who looks and is 20.

difficult to cope with the pressures of midweek games and the league when you can't put your best players out on the field.

Man u second goal today wasn't because of tippy tappy in our own half, watch the game. we don't need fans losing faith in a manager after 7 games after taking us to Europe in his first season, that is pure FICKLE. I would understand if we had a fully fit team and losing .

No, according to some of our fans, we still should be beating teams left and right.
