Roberto Martinez discussion

Wouldn't have any of them.

Love them all as players but wouldn't want them in charge unless it was literally for one or two games.

Reid or Royle probably.
Is Reid not a manager of some Indian team any more? But yeah I agree, Royle and Reid are the most qualified to do it for the short term.

Haha cheers mate.

I feel all blushed now...

But no I know we have our differences but I'ms till sticking by RM (for the time being), but Saturday has shifted my opinion quite a bit.

I'm now more along the lines of views of people like @roydo or @MoutsGoat that tbh I can see the pros and cons of keeping him, and the pros and cons of sacking him.

However, I still don't think that we should get rid and replace him with a caretaker manager of the likes of Dunc or Unsworth, as much as they were good players for us. It'd have to be for Royle or Reidy to be able to take up the mantle for 6 or 7 games.

don't compare yourself to Mouts. Even he doesnt know where he stands

Either he's lifted his info from the article I quoted from earlier, or there's momentum beginning to build in the press

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...ng-faith-in-robert-martinez-ahead-of-crucial/

I think a bit of both but the point remains that (poorly subbed) Telegraph article is all conjecture. It's literally turned the common sense of 'players don't like losing games' into the 'players are losing faith'.

It may be true, like, but I hate fact and conjecture presented as fact by the national media and the fans lapping it up because it's what they want to hear.

Any chance McCarthy?!

Any chance Barkley & Oviedo?! Funes Mori on his way to the beach?

Besic very slow to react, Barry didn't react at all, if you watch the goal again he watches the ball the whole time from Creswell to Carroll's header, he doesn't once look over his shoulder and his reaction after Payet scored is nonexistent.

But somehow Aaron Lennon would have stopped those goals. SMFH

Kenwright is stupid mate but not that stupid.
Wouldn't it be the new owners call anyway?
Lets hope so. There was defo some sort of love-in going on with them.

Yes the new owner would get the final say I would have thought but surely he would consult Kenwright and take his views on board.

It would be a very bad move but wouldn't rule it out totally. This is Everton at the end of the day where anything can and usually does happen.
