We have been utter turd this season and have still taken points of them in both games
I hate the extreme views on both sides.
I hate the exageration that this is the worst it's been in ages, when it's not, it's back to where we were 5 years ago if that.
But I also hate the 'this is fine, stop moaning' stuff.

If we were firing on all cylinders and put in a performance like that 99% would be fuming and rightly so
We are slowly getting back to some sort of form, A defeat in the derby deflates everyone at the club, Making sure we came away with at least a point was very important

It's a crap place to be.
But this season, with how things have gone, it was an entirely understandable approach.
Martinez would have been more hounded had he gone for it and we got shafted.
The replies in here are cringeworthy. We looked solid tonight, as we have done the last 3 games, and people still want to moan. Would you rather we went out and attacked like we did when we lost 0-4? It seems like some people aren't happy unless we win. No team looked more like winning tonight and It feels like this is the right performance to keep us going in the league.
We all know our season depends on the Europa now. We are destined for a mid table finish and should attempt to focus our thoughts on Europe.
We all know our squad is better than its current position and injuries + player disruption (which has now left) has made life difficult.
We've drawn two Derby games this season, so have Liverpool... At the end of the day that's not terrible. What we need to do is get to the end of this season, hopefully with a good run in the Europa, and look towards building something better next year, with a squad we know is very capable.
