Roberto Martinez documentary

Kendall, Royle, Smith and Moyes all had lower final points tallies.

Kendall's magic was gone and Smith was a Dinosaur.

Royle took over Walker's team who were at the bottom of the league.

Moyes took over from the Smithosaurus.

Berto took over from a Moyes team which had just finished 6th on 63 points, littered with internationals, and had the best striker of Everton's PL era at his disposal for all 3 of his seasons.

I really like the guy, Dave. Makes me sad thinking of what could have been, but at the end of the day he just couldn't learn lessons. Chiefly, set-pieces are part of the game whether you like it or not, sometimes you have to adapt your tactics to the players at your disposal, don't chat utter wham after you've been battered, and lastly, sometimes a player is just crap - don't think you have this innate ability to turn any bang average player into a world-beater purely by telling him he's phenomenal.

I'll be totally honest, if I'd felt he'd learned his lessons in the last 5 years, I'd have him back tomorrow. But no, he's an ideal scenario manager, which is why Belgium suits him so much... especially with the quality he has all over the pitch with that team.

Even Moyes said that team needed a clear out. They had way too many older players. Then Roberto had to teach them how to play football to feet.

It was miraculous to get elite levels of points in the PL era for this club. We'll be waiting a long time for a repeat.

And also took them down, cos hes a terrible, terrible manager.
He kept them up for 3 seasons when Whelan was selling players on him. If Bruce or Jewell had been in charge in that period they'd have gone into the Championship sooner

He has the highest ranked team in the world, the best Striker in Europe and the best playmaker in world football.

When he craps the bed at this Euros, you will be spent and so will he.

You can be the best but not win a trophy. See the '82 Brazil team. One of their best.
