Big Nev is on record as saying he'd love to be a goalkeeping coach here but Bill wouldnt want him. Too outspoken for Bill is Big Nev.
Or maybe he would be just a **** coach.

I love the fact that if someone has similar opinion to the club, he is considered a "Yes man". But if someone has different opinion he is considered "outspoken" or "independent", instead of being "No man" just for the sake of being against something.

This sites poll says 1300 people out of 1500 reckon Martinez isnt the manger for Everton Football Club, something Southall says too.
That remark is a bit over the top imo. The poll asked which manager was our prefered choice to succeed Moyes. I voted Laudrup myself and later wanted Tuchel. That never meant I was dead against Martinez or a few other candidates on the list. As many others and myself have said on here, every manager that gets appointed as succesor to Moyes proves a risk. Ragnick and Pereira would've exactly the same to prove as Martinez. Looking at all names linked and availlable I think we could do a lot worse than Martinez.

Bandwagons.

Remember "thirty thousand stay away fans can't be wrong" leaflets? possibly you can't but it was about Kendal and wanting him sacked.

Hitler used to get great numbers at one time - it's all bollocks and why advertising and marketing is so effective the capacity of people to behave like sheep is frightening.

We know Wigan aren't a Prem side unless Whelan funds it all - he stopped that after Bruce and Jewell - the fact Martinez kept them up for so long and won a trophy is remarkable. Ignoring these factors is crazy as is discounting the phenomenon he created at Swansea.

Can't wait for him here.

Martinez has come in for pelters from just about every ex player and pundit known to man saying he just isn't good enough. Unsworth, sharp, Ratcliffe, Southall, Matt Holland, Cundy, all have said they don't get the hype with him and he's a poor choice.

Don't get me wrong I don't want him either, but didn't I see someone put the stats on here that Martinez had a better win percentage at Swansea than Rodgers, and although his win percentage at Wigan was poor, it was still better than Rodgers win percentage at Reading?

If those stats are genuine, I honestly can't remember Rodgers getting as much stick when he joined Liverpool.

Brenda should not be used as our yardstick.

One of the most depressing things about this new manager process has been the ex-players coming out with their barbed comments about people associated with the job. Greats they may have been in the past, but a lot of them are on a good thing by keeping the whole thing in-house (or getting their preferred candidate in). They should keep their grids shut because they're motives are inevitably suspect and any respect for them is disappearing fast with many blues.
