I have looked at the line ups. I have given you names of players you have called reserves, like their club captain at the time! A win is a win, and we beat the best team in Europe, (ourselves missing several key players, at least as many as United were).

Oh, so NOW a win is a win. You were just saying City lost the final, rather than Wigan winning it.

Like I say, deluded.

Dont get behind our manager then, go and support City or some other gang followed by bell ends.

Bily and Beattie were not as bad as people made out. They played games, scored goals and made contribution to the team. We also got fees for them not lost them on a free.

We only lost £1.5m on Kroldrup. A Lescott profit already covered all the lost here.

So Our club want to hire a manager who doesnt believe he is capable of taking wigan back up and blames himself for taking them down......... We deserve better

I'd personally like to see this from Martinez next season.

Obviously Fellaini could be sold, and we could swap Mirallas around with any new striker we get.

I agree. Macheda, Anderson, Park, Gibson and Welbeck were all better than Nasri, Toure, Aguero, Barry etc.

The team United put out that day would have beaten City in the final, as Mancini had lost the dressing room. You show your ignorance, as players like Gibson and Anderson started in the semi-finals of the champions league for them that season, when they annihilated Schalke 4-0. Would any of the above players, given their form in 2013 get anywhere near that level of performance? Norwich went to the Etihad and won, Norwich who'd won about two games in 2013!

How many of City's team won the league the season before ??!!

I support Everton and always will. You are denigrating the achievement of an Everton side who won at Wembley.
Well done to Wigan for winning the cup, but give the mighty Norwich went to win at City the following week, I think it's a fair summation to make, that the city dressing room is all over the place.

Bily had a decent first season and Beattie had a purple patch in his second season, but overall I'd say they were pretty gash and both poor signings from Moyes. Proof that every manager makes a few mistakes in terms of transfers.

If Everton have any sense, any at all, when they unveil the new manager he'll be holding the shirt with the back facing outwards rather than the front in the pictures.

Because if they show the front, all people will do is fume about the badge. Top rated comment on Facebook for the photo will be "Don't care, get rid of the badge".

I think we need to react with a little more positivity, things seem so negative at the minute and a new, and a fresh young manager, lauded by many for his exploits with Wigan over the past four years, is good news in my book. The Manure fans reacted well to Moyes, yet for my money, they have even more to worry about with him than we would with Martinez. COYB!

But we are not talking about the season before are we? Wigan didn't beat City the season before. We are talking about a City side that has lost to teams like Norwich at home.

You tried to be facetious by mentioning Gibson and Anderson in their starting 11. This is the same Gibson and Anderson who helped destroy Schalke in the Champions league semi finals, just a couple of weeks after playing us. Given the way city have polayed at the end of this season, the side United put out against us in that semi would have beaten them by a cricket score.

Hold on. Are you really clasing us winning NOTHING that year as an acheivement ??? While at the same time, trying some backward logic of comparing Norwich beating City, to Wigan winning the FA Cup ??????!!!

While im not over the moon I dont think its a disaster. But a few things give me hope,

He plays good football. He plays football on the deck. If we keep Felli you have to think he wont want him up top...thus putting him in his better position, defensive mf. That will make a better team.

Defense was his problem, but has he had cb of the quality of jagielka, distin or heitinga ??
Baines and Coleman are made for his style of play.

Mirralas, Pienaar and Osman are gonna fit his style...gibson possibly,

So some major pieces are in place. We need a new cf or 2...new cm, new gk

Oh and as for alternatives...lennon, hughes etc....**** that...and how many people have seen porto play this season or knew who perriera was a month ago ??
