Roberto Martinez Stadium drawing..

First of all, anything is better than that giant temporary sign with the old logo and white background that was put up last season.

Secondly, the fact that Martinez is getting this personal touch added to Goodison after just one year, when Moyes didn't get something similar after over ten years of tenure shows the difference in how the board, the fans and the media see Martinez and what he is capably of.

And finally, anyone who says it is "kopite-ish" needs to stop being so obessessed with them lot. It frustrates me the way some blues let them lot dictate what they think we should or shouldn't do.

Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing it properly, but the initial glimpses of it look quite smart, and it defintly looks quite unique amongst over Premier League grounds.

I'm pretty sure we had "In Moyes we trust" all over the stadium at one point.

Can't believe some of the over reaction on here.

It's a picture on the side of the stadium of our manager.

Nothing wrong with it at all.
Im sure you seen the embarrassing over reaction when we did a presser that announced Barkley and then the next day because Lukaku wasnt announced at 7 on. The. Dot.

This was bound to happen. You will always see a moan. Just like a few years ago, when the stones around the pitch werent the right shade of blue. Ha ha ha.... honest to god.

I remember one lad losing it because Craig David was playing before the game. Granted the tune was years old but fk me, grab a beer and some hula hoops.... preferably beef. Relax

@Kiwi

Yeah, that would have been a great option. Or even just the bottom half. Pick a great moment in the season with Roberto and the players. Then it doesn't come off as Dictatorial, but I still don't hate it as is...it just could have been handled much better.

Maybe something with the shadows of great teams past on the edges while the current squad/Martinez take center stage.

(I tagged you because I hate quoting pictures).
