Do you trust our Manager to change our form around and get is back on track this season?

well tbh no, this is Everton, they always find a way to mess it up, don't actually see the dreaded 'R' word, but come May there will be a poll on who our new Gareth Farelly will be or the last or next to last game of the season.

Run the poll again at Christmas.

Because the play-offs were brought in in order to solve the problem of mid-table teams having nothing to play for half way through the season. After the introduction of the play-offs, mid-table teams had something to compete for.
But we don't have play offs in the premier league.

And it's one thing that in February or March a team in 9th, 10th 11th or 12th (mid table) can put a run together and finish 6th (top end of the table) to get into the play offs. Another to suggest that that same 6th place finish is mid table.

Perhaps that is the opinion of a particular cohort that is prevalent in this day and age, but traditionally speaking, it is a mid-table position. And lots of people still think it is.
I've been watching football since long before play offs were introduced and 5th has never, never been considered mid table in any division with 20 teams or more.

No knee jerk reaction but what I want from him is to sort out our defence. Once that is done we'll be fine.
With the 5 games in just over a fortnight it has shown the squad depth isn't good enough so we need to invest in January.

I wish he would show some passion and come out after a game and say we were not good enough.
He is so nice but do players take that as a weakness.
Sometimes you have to be hard to get results.
There is a passion, hunger and desire missing at the club and we need it back.

I think a lot of that is just guesswork though. A lot of people talking about his after-match interviews. As the pundits in Ireland, Johnny Giles & Eamonn Dunphy, would tell you...what managers say in interviews after a games means almost nothing. Was there not comments from Jags last season saying he does the dirty work when it needs to be done.

I personally don´t need to hear the boss say anything to make me feel like the right work is being done. That will only show at the end of the season....OR, at the end of his tenure here.

We do seem to miss a spark in the team but missing Coleman, McCarthy and Kev the last couple of games will take that bite out of us. They may have been involved in the poor start but we would need those three in every week to give us the kind of attitude that Roy Keane for example would give you all in one player. Ross is quieter and less of a nark, but he leads by example because he doesn´t disappear and ever seem to let his mistakes stop him wanting the ball and trying to beat his man again.

I´m very confident this is not much more than a team in a bad moment who will get two wins in a row and kick on. Confidence is a huge factor in performances.

I hear what your saying and we don't know what goes on behind closed doors.
But we seem to have no hunger or desire at all.
Something is deffo lacking we only seem to up the tempo when behind and we seem so slow and lacklustre for large parts of games.

That clown who presents MOTD2 last night (I cant even bring myself to use the gormless tit's name) asking the panel if Martinez's job was safe. It's safer than yours, you talentless no mark talking head.
