No but he has let things slip since summer and needs to manage now and sort the problems.
He is like a different man to last season

It's kind of obvious this would happen though. Perhaps not to this extent, but last season was so good that a dip was highly likely.

You are right though, this is a big challenge for him to sort it out.

That clown who presents MOTD2 last night (I cant even bring myself to use the gormless tit's name) asking the panel if Martinez's job was safe. It's safer than yours, you talentless no mark talking head.

Hahaha - couldn't bring myself to watch it!

Add to the fact it would be ludicrous to sack him, Kenwright wouldn't do it anyway!

I hear what your saying and we don't know what goes on behind closed doors.
But we seem to have no hunger or desire at all.
Something is deffo lacking we only seem to up the tempo when behind and we seem so slow and lacklustre for large parts of games.

But I reckon we are just slow and lacklustre because we are devoid of confidence. Lots of things have gotten us into this situation, but I am sure once we get a couple of win we will see what we saw last season from our players, and the new additions/players coming back will be able to shine better in a confident team.

This squad, back on track, and playing with confidence is still one of the top 6 in the league.

Tell you something, it´s going to be great watching them tear it up again after the start they have had.

We have got one of the best squads in the league I just hope they get themselves sorted.

He'll sort it out
Amazing actually that last year passed without a single bad patch
And even this bad patch (1 league win in 7, out of the cup) doesn't feel to me anywhere near as bad as some of the other rough starts we traditionally enjoyed every year
It's a long season and I think once overcoming this hurdle we'll be a much better team for it.
It is a shame though because it has already damaged our league prospects, but in the long term I still couldn't be happier with the man in charge.

Even when we are as gash as we are right now, teams still hate facing us.

Villa will be dreading facing us and we'll be raring to go for it. 3-0 pasting on the cards I reckon.

Obviously I am talking about his time at Everton.

At least Bobby has it in him: he is a winner.

Moyes was a loser, plain and simple.

We are in much better hands with Bobby in charge. He might have relegated Wigan, but he's not going to relegate us; let's not go crazy here.

Wigan had the 2nd most injuries of any team the season they went down fwiw and they were all in defence. Ramis, Stam, Beausejour, Boyce and, (yes!) Alcaraz were out for major periods. Reduced to playing Gary Caldwell! And they still almost survived.

We'll be fine. I think we'll be top 10 this season with an eye on Europa.
