There is no irony, I am basing my opinion of what is likely to happen with Pickford on performances I ve watched and I see a very normal keeper who has a massive opinion of himself and in complete denial that he is in awful form with no confidence. I don’t want a keeper like that for our biggest game in years. If there is any chance this lad can come in and at least be steady without horrendous errors I would 1 million percent put him straight in

He's turd now and I agree with you that he's done but let's not rewrite history and pretend he was always quite this bad.

And there's another thing we need to be honest about too - we never as a fan base wanted to forgive him for Origi. So even when he's had spells since where he's been just OK, we've still hated him and were waiting for the next mistake to have a pop.

And he just kept providing mistake after mistake.
