But... He was genuinely very good once upon a time. He was deservedly England #1.

He's turd now and I agree with you that he's done but let's not rewrite history and pretend he was always quite this bad.

And there's another thing we need to be honest about too - we never as a fan base wanted to forgive him for Origi. So even when he's had spells since where he's been just OK, we've still hated him and were waiting for the next mistake to have a pop.

And he just kept providing mistake after mistake.
Very good is a stretch.

Made less mistakes yes, but don't think he's ever been very good.

On the contrary, he's never let us forget about Origi. Every time he drops the ball, he reminds us of it.

The lad is a liability, is Pickford.

When you’re super obsessed with Newcastle and can’t play at away there cause you’re head is not in the game, then you’re doing something wrong.

Equally, losing 3-0 away and sticking your tongue out to the cameras, that’s a sign that you’re an immature bell.

West Brom, Fleetwood and Brighton outweigh Spurs, to suggest that was an anomaly.

I don’t like the sounds of this Olsen and would much prefer Gazzaniga, but get him in, and seize the chance and hope that Pickford doesn’t give him that opportunity, which he will, cause he’s a moron.

I think the end of 2018 season into the World Cup and the following season he was very good. But he is now on a whole year of being disastrous. I'm just not sure why we're so sure that he can even bring it back to being average.

Completely agree that he has declined steadily over the course of his time here. I rated him in his first season. He’s been hopeless for long enough now and seems to actually be getting so much worse that I’ve given up any hope on him.

Sign realistic competition (like Romero) or nobody until you can.

Otherwise stick with Lossl or Virginia. Why have them if they aren't considered worthwhile.

The thinking has to be that Olsen is a significant upgrade on Lossl. If this goes through, Lossl is surplus to requirements, hopefully we can find a League 1 team to take him on loan or something.

No he was very good. Excellent actually. Our 2017/18 player of the year, by a mile. And he was excellent for Sunderland too the year before, which got him the move.

But he's been so bad since that it's diluted all memory of that season.
I barely remember last season.
