I have been burgled before and you feel violated because of it and it takes a while to get over that feeling. Can't imagine what it must feel like to have been robbed (i know the difference between a burglary and a robbery thanks to antman).
 

Horrible experience, really awful.
Terrible experience for his wife and kids, what must they think, they'll lose faith in the human race for months if not years, hope they get counselling
 
Wish someone would just deal with these scumbags already...
Liverpools not the biggest place so surely someone knows who they are...
No respect for people that target women and kids
 

I was burgled a few years ago while me, my wife and 4 kids were asleep upstairs. They came in and quietly disconnected every electrical item in the living room. They then moved into the dining room which has patio doors and barricaded the internal door with the sofa in case we woke up and came down. They then proceeded to remove all of the cushion covers to use as makeshift bags to carry their (i say their loosely) swag. Loaded it all up into my wife's car, and drove off. They even left an empty can of coke on the dining table that they helped themselves too from the fridge.

Took a while to recover from that. Couldn't sleep properly for months.

Add insult to injury, it took the insurance company 4 months to pay out because they thought the robbery was suspicious as we were in the house and didn't hear anything.

I remember the police officer who came around when we reported it. She hated insurance companies and coached us before we called the insurance company. She told us to say that the car keys were hidden and that the patio keys were not in the door (internally obviously). Even though she said that everyone keeps their keys in the door or near it in case of fire. She also said that if the car keys weren't easy to find, they may have gone upstairs to find them!!

From that day, we always leave our car keys out and never take them upstairs.

Scary stuff.

There's some real scum bags out there....
 
Its sad that we have to share the planet with vile greedy people, who rather than earn their own, seek to take from other's efforts. But just look at the example set by those we elect. Its hardly a surprise.
 
Absolute rats doing this.
Surely these guys have got to have the very best security systems fitted , even the club employing people to monitor them 24/7.
This cant carry on this day and age.

I don’t oppose to this because those who broke the law and throwing petrol bombs and burning shops down will afraid of surveillance because they are scared to get caught.
