....I’ve never been keen on Pickford, and whilst this bloke might be a slight improvement, he doesn’t fill me with confidence either. Virginia is another who looks poor.

....these blokes are professionals & richly rewarded. Ancelotti isn’t here to keep them happy, he selects who he feels is best. Whilst I’m not in the least bit defending Pickford, I wouldn’t ‘feel sorry‘ for Olsen. Olsen is free to do what he wishes at the end of the season.

Not true. He is selecting Pickford as he believes he is the best goalkeeper that we have for the games that he selects him for. If he honestly thought he was a car crash he wouldn't play him. Fact remains we can all whinge about how terrible we think he is, but he has only cost a couple of goals with errors this season, and that compares favourably with most goalkeepers in the league. Personally I think it's because either he's been lucky or our defence has bailed him out, but that's the statistical fact of the matter.
