2024/25 Roman Dixon

Players can't improve? Mykolenko was abysmal and looked league 2 level despite what some fans believe I think he's really progressed as a player with him becoming more defensively consistent and although still lacking , showing some better traits attacking maybe Patterson could follow his path or maybe not who knows but he hasn't even played in like 4 months
He was nothing like Mykolenko, who showed a lot of early promise.

Patterson came in and was terrible positionally, defensively unalert, and stamina-wise lacking badly.

If ever there's been a player unsuited to the PL it's this one.

Dixon is way better at RB right now than Patterson ever will be.

Worse than Young?

Worse than Coleman?

Doing less than those two when he played?

Making as many or more mistakes than those two when he’s played?
I just automatically assume that any natural right back that we have within any of our squads (21s, 23s, first team) is a huge step up on Young and Coleman, who should be fourth and third choice right backs now respectively.

Dixon, as the only fit natural right back we have at the moment, the position should be his to lose, with Patterson given a chance to impress if Dixon doesn't perform well enough / makes too many mistakes.

How many times have Young and Coleman been persisted with for their alleged top experience despite stinking the bleeding place out for seasons on end - penalties given away, woeful own goals, red cards, etc.

We're in a thread about Dixon's claims for the RB berth and people are contrasting Coleman/Young's claims over Patterson's.

Strange.

If they think he has a chance of being a premier league player then they are doing well not to throw him to the wolves.

Reminds me of Coleman when he first arrived. Needs a loan to the championship.
