£150-175k a week and a 75 million pound release clause. get it done moshimoshi.

With the utter state of Pogba I think 75m is under value. Player prices are insane currently and we would be wise to try and push for honours, announce a magnificent new Stadium and then see how he views his future and Evertons'.

Or just do what Barca do and put insane clauses in.

A few of their fringe players like Bojan and that went for normal values but had release clauses of 45m euro or something. Smack a £100m clause on Lukaku and that's that.

We need him to sign it. At the end of this season he will only have 2 years left. That doesn't put us in a strong position.

Ultimately release clause or no release clause because he doesn't sign if Rom wants to leave he will leave next summer. A 75m clause and him signing may actually give us more chance of keeping him.

However we are 2nd in the league so now is not the time to worry about that.

If Raiola agrees to a clause, it won't be one which makes it even more difficult to get out. They only have to sit tight until the summer anyway.

It's a win-win for them to see out the season. The window past he was circa 75mill and few were going to stump it up so he stays here until next summer where with only 2yrs left on his contract he'll be closer to 40-50mill and will have a lot more suitors at that price. Apparently we have money now so the pressure will be on to offer him a huge contract to keep him so if he ever signs(which I doubt) it'll be for a massive wage.

The best-case scenario I can see is a decent finish (Europa qualification through league position, ideally) which puts Everton in a position where replacing him would be less of an issue than it was after coming in 11th.

Given the utterly mad prices some players went for in the summer, £75m does feel a little low for a release clause. In the prem, only Aguero is better (not counting Ibra due to age) - replacing Lukaku would be very, very difficult.

I want him to stay and win a trophy with us but if he does choose to go I would like him gone from the Prem - PSG would be fine. Can release clauses be tiered? IE £100m to any team in the prem, but £80m to any non-prem CL club?
