I wonder if he can be fully committed to the cause, with the summer that went past and all the comments.

Having one eye elsewhere even if it seems months off to him, that must have the potential for distraction.

He just hasn't seemed properly with it since March.

He can't simply decide to turn up, or otherwise, this is elite professional sport.

That said, I agree completely as to the burden placed on him. We really needed to get someone in to share that burden and ended up panic-loaning Enner Valencia. I don't think we met his expectations and for a while, he largely hasn't met ours.
