By virtue of being a criminal lawyer, you will have to defend people who you may not wish to (particularly as Clinton was a legal aid lawyer) and furthermore, everyone has a right to a fair defence as a fundamental human right, whatever you are accused of.

I personally think Lukaku would make a good criminal defence lawyer*.

Sorry lads, I have to disagree. We pay the lad to play football and nothing else. Considering the recent revelations about Trump, it was more than insensitive and stupid for Lukaku to wade into the debate. If he was caught drink-driving, he'd be fined by the club for bringing us into disrepute. If he just drank behind closed doors, that would be his own choice as a man. Likewise, he can support Trump but he really should keep it to himself

Except drink-driving is a crime. Supporting a politician isn't. You may not like the legal system, but that doesn't mean you get to change it to suit yourself.

So, to get back on topic, Rom is doing the job on the field that is expected of him. His off-field activities have not caused any concern either - a good start to the season for him, but we are too heavily reliant upon him at the moment.

As a criminal lawyer, if Lukaku had committed a heinous crime I could choose not to defend him.
