50/60m strikers should make chances and put away any they do get. Even when f service is poor he should be taking chances, having a half decent first always helps too though. Unfortunately we have no other strikers too push him or even play alongside him to help.

I wish people would stop making this excuse for him. He does nothing whatsoever in the final third to help work the opportunities for the team as a whole, and get the team up the pitch to get into the positions he would feed on.
That's why he's not and almost certainly never will be a top level striker for the elite clubs. He is simply not good enough a footballer. He's "just" a fantastic goalscorer, and that means that we're playing with a man short in the final third every single game for the vast majority of it.
Was one occasion where he shouted for a ball from Baines - threw his arms in the air like the pass was obviously on. He was pinned to a defender and didn't have a prayer of doing anything if he got the ball.
So Baines gave him the ball. He miscontrolled it.
He immediately started moaning at Baines for it, despite the ball being exactly what he asked for.
His movement is terrible with his back to goal, but he does nothing to improve it, and it's the number one reason we look so ineffective most games.

People critisise him a lot for various reasons some valid but ultimately he chose to stay and give us another year when he could clearly have gone. He is a very good player who we rely on heavily but he does not get the service

He's not world class like he thinks he is but he is certainly one of the best in the league and around the world. He needs to improve on lots of things but can guarantee if he played with better players he would be a better player. Also think sometimes he's never putting 100 percent in because his heart isn't in it anymore for us, he simply knows we won't get where we want to be as we are now.
Take him away from us this season and we would be down at the bottom believe me, he will be a big loss
