Romelu Lukaku

And that's fine and correct, but ultimately he's not doing anything to try and make it work. He's just standing still and sulking and putting no effort in.

We can bang on about service to him all day, but what's he doing to benefit his team mates around him?
He is easy to mark because he goes to the defender to pin himself against..

I'd love him to show half the desire and snideness of Diego Costa. If the game isn't coming to you then go and find it and get stuck in.

But that's why Diego Costa is a great footballer who could walk into most top sides, and Lukaku is at Everton and nobody will seriously bid to take a punt on him. He's half the player, and that's being generous.

He doesn't have it in him

So you play to his strengths.

While he's still here, he's the best goalscorer we have, by miles.

Rom's performance stepped up when Valencia came on and there was more space. It's very simple.

You can't force a player to be something he's not. Fans have to accept that. He is never going to be a Diego Costa. He's a big bulky forward who slots when he gets the chance.

Hopefully people are finally waking up to him, now he doesn't have the goals to disguise how much of a poor actual footballer he is.

The thing is with Lukaku, when he's bad, he's dreadful and when he's good, he's unstoppable.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if he came out next week and scored a hat-trick and this thread was the complete opposite, full of "where are the haters now?"
