This seems so obvious. Why else would someone, who has talked a lot about leaving, sign up for an increased contract?

Love him to lead us to future glory, but the contract has nothing to do with longevity at Everton.

As for Alder Hay not scoring as many goals, I think the goals they do achieve are worth far more than a scoreline.

He's got the most important component of his game sorted. Scoring goals.

Now if he looked to adopt his game like Costa does, he'd score more. Costa hurries defenders into mistakes, carves out chances for himself.

We've seen Lukaku do that once, possibly twice. If he brought that into his game, there's no reason why a top Champs League team wouldn't snap him up.
