The guy didn't want to sign for us in the first place, he was waiting all that summer for better options. For the last 2 years he hasn't wanted to be at the club. I have banged this drum many times and quite frankly after watching his poor 'isolated' performances week in and week out I've had enough, if he wants to go Tara lad:bye:

too late mate, here comes @Prevenger17 to tell us how Lukaku is the worst striker to ever play for the club and is everything that is wrong with us and football in general.

Yes I agree; I suppose they recycle them. I do agree though with the statement that it's highly unlikely that he'll sign a new contract without any assurances.

Normally around this time there is also a video interview where they make him say controversial stuff; but haven't found that yet.

It's a clockwork media spectacle.

Yup, we'll sell him in the summer sign someone like Callum Wilson (who I like as a player by the way, as a second striker) for an inflated fee who will run around a lot and hold the ball up a lot better. He'll only score 11 goals over the season but people on here will give him 1/10th of the crap they give Lukaku who has scored more than half of our goals this season. We will then finish 8th and be told it is progress. There's my cheery prediction for 2017/18!
 

Don't blame him if he wants to go. We need to be challenging for the cups atleast to make our best players interested in staying and to attract better players to sign

Seriously though, i don't think lukaku will be leaving this window, but before the window closes i think the media will be selling him for us.
 
If Lukaku is more ambitious about wanting to win trophies than earn money then I am fine with that.

What I am not fine with though is that he put in one of the worst Centre Forward displays I have ever seen against Man United last season, when had he managed to take even one of them or hit a penalty in the back of the net, we more than likely would be sitting here talking about going 1 year without a trophy rather than 2 generations!!!
