Rom was poor today. We desperately needed his hold up play today but his first touch evaded him. Let's hope it was mostly due to the difficult conditions.

Read somewhere mid week that Rom was being compared to Van Basten in terms of finishing. I think that might have gone to his head a bit!
He still has a long way to go to be up there with the likes of Shearer, Lineker, Rush etc. I still don't have complete confidence when he gets a chance he will score it. He needs to be able to put the ball in the back of the net even if he hasn't been in the game and looks out of sorts.
Still can't complain too much as he is by far the best striker we've had for a long old while. Hopefully the next game he shows why.
