Signing a new contract was never going to keep him here. I was surprised he didn't leave at the end of last season and I'm sure he's planned all along to move this summer - contract or no contract. He's never spoken about his future here (nor has his agent) it's always in the here and now about how he's developing etc. Yes he'll be missed but other teams move on and so will we.

We only went for prem players last season because he didn't have enough time with us last year. He will have already looked far and wide for a suitable replacement(s).

Maybe one of the Milan clubs looking to make a statement now they have cash again. If PSG are after Sanchez as reported, no room there for him. Bayern dont have room for him.
