Romelu Lukaku

in his book Lookman and even Schneiderlin are second tier players.

I'm not sure if that is necessarily the case, but let's be honest, we signed Lookman from Charlton and our main competition for Schneiderlin's signature came from West Brom - it's not like we were battling it out with big sides to bring them in.

Well said Romelu.
Said exactly how we should all feel. The Board have failed in two transfer windows.
If Moshiri has the money, spend it.

I don't see him leaving if that is everything?

Possible he wont. But he wants a release clause, that is evidence in itself he wants a get out. why else ask for one?

Rom is one of us.
Yep. He just stated all the things we have all been on about for ages.
We all knew he wanted out last summer, and Koeman sold him a dream.
The thing is, Rom does not have the patience or time to be part of a rebuild.
He wants the big time now. He wants the big team now. He wants the shiny trophies now!
Nothing wrong in that. It just means he is not for us. If we had just signed him for the first time last summer, it would be a different story.
We basically lost him in Roberto's second season. From then on, it was a matter of time, (wasted time, in his mind, no doubt).

Basically telling the rest of the squad there not good enough for him and he's better than them all

Nice one Rom
Not really. Telling them all to stop being a set of bottlers and start achieving. We've had potential within this squad to do something special for years. It's about time we started doing it. Ironically rom missing a boat load of sitters and a pen at Wembley last year likely cost us a trophy he is speaking about. Funny that. I do largely agree with what he's saying and it's nothing that hasn't been discussed on here countless times.

Bad as it gets that is.

He's called the board frauds.

It can only be seen as a move to place them forward for the blame of his moving.

You dont come back from criticising your employer like that.
Rom has spoken more like an Evertonian than any of our recent comfort zone losers. Tell me what part was wrong, or are you going to be contrary for the sake of it?

weres the bit that sky just said about his quotes,it was lukaku was asked was he worried everton would price him out of a move,to which lukaku supposedly said no---didnt see that quote or question on anything ive just read

and he's also telling the management team who to bring in I didn't realise our errant want away striker was in charge of transfer policy. Not arsed if he leaves, Rooney put paid to all that shizzle, get a big wedge and sign a boss striker.

Its not a bombshell interview designed to derail our season by saying he wants off. He was doing Kick it out stuff and was asked questions in a 12 minute interview which he has replied to.

I dont see anywhere where he says "there's no way im signing a new deal and im 100% gone". If we go and sign VVD, Tielemanns, Rooney and Isco this summer for instance he may be happy to stay.

We need to stop talking about wanting big names etc and just sign them.

Very honest and frank interview.

Reading between the lines the guy is obviously committed to playing his best for Everton whilst he is here, he's just frustrated that we haven't significantly kicked on since he signed permanently. Interesting comments about the players he "knew we could get and didn't" in the last two windows, though perhaps a tad contradictory when he's also claiming that he doesn't know "what the boards plans are".

Comes across genuine in what he says though and I've always thought that. He's obviously no.1 in his eyes but he still cares enough about us to actually want to win everything in sight.

The timing of all of this still really isn't great though..

I'd have told Raiola not to go to press declaring how close we are to signing. When White asked us I'd have said that talks were ongoing and not done.

Basically done everything in my power to ensure the message that he'd sign wouldn't be made public (until he had). Don't raise expectations you can't meet.
and you are?

There is no way he can play on Saturday, is there?

His head cannot possibly be right to play for our club so soon after this episode.

He's utterly spot on.

If we are really bidding £60m for Koulibaly, how comes all the other bids have been less than £30m for fairly moderate players or after Stones went?

We clearly have needed a new striker for two windows, and yet the closest we've come is Enner useless Valencia.

Butterfingers Joel in goal.

It just never makes any sense with Moshiri and his gang of utter fibbers.
