Chelsea & PSG I think would be the most viable options based on all factors. If he goes to Utd after they finish outside of the top 4 once again, and with Mourinho at the helm, it'll reflect badly on him. He's got mates there, yeah, but it'd proper stink of Raiola that.

Might jib off football all together if I have to see him in a United shirt.

Lads he's going to Utd or Chelsea it's pretty obvious. Just hope we get £70-75 million for him and reinvest the money wisely. Lacazette for £45-50 million would be a top class replacement with the remaining £25-30 million going on a 2nd good striker like Giroud/Dembele

Yeah I agree with this. Where exactly is he going to go?

Out of the type of clubs he would want...

Chelsea, been there, done that, wouldnt really fit into how Conte sets up his team and they already have Costa.

United may not qualify for the CL and Mourinho obviously doesn't rate him that highly.

Arsenal may not get CL either and would never spend that amount on him.

He wouldn't suit how Guardiola plays at City. Spurs is probably not enough of a step up for him and they have Kane. The RS is not an option.

Abroad you have Barcelona who have Messi, Suarez and Neymar among others and his all round game is probably not quite good enough.

Bayern Munich wouldn't pay silly money and he may even be looking at a wage cut to go there.

Serie A is rubbish.

Leaves two options for me. PSG which is always possible but its no a glamour league, and Real Madrid, that could be possible as he could replace Benzema if he were to leave.

See you next season Rom.
Wouldnt rule out Man City , Pep doesnt seem over the moon about Aguero...money is no object to them either.

I thought he wanted CL, not convinced United are going to be able to offer that

Its not obvious though & you need to swerve the Giroud shout as well, utter guff and isnt worth £25m.

Given his age, (and that stones went for 50m) , we should be looking at at least 80-90m.

But I'm still hopeful we bring in 3-4 top players to play around him early next transfer window and that persuades him to stay.

They'll pay the release price in either Summer or January, so I'd be hoping that the club can convince him to hang on until January. The idea being that if we can get some decent signings & be well in the mix for CL the season after, it might be enough. If the progress isn't there for him to see, then promise him we'll let him go in January for the release, or best offer.

Just a thought.

It is he isn't good enough for Real Madrid or Barcelona, he's ambitious and won't want to play in the French SPL league and Bayern won't pay the sort of money we'll want. Juventus also spent a wedge on Higuain.

Utd need a new forward and have many of raoilas players at the club and most likely Costa will be away in the summer at Chelsea, the only other potential destination is Atletico if they sell Griezman.

Giroud like Austin is a proven prem goalscorer and RK will target atleast 1 of them imo, no way will he lose a 20 goal a season striker and bring in nothing but unproven strikers in this league it'll be too much of a risk

I tend to agree with this.

The timing of the announcement suggests to me that the ground is being laid out for a summer exit and there will no doubt be a drip drip of snippets

Yesterday I read that last close season there was an agreement between club and player in effect play one more season and then he could leave and , here's the twist there was a verbal agreement around fee.

When it comes to likely destination it's not just about fee it's far more about the location, style of play and indeed the success of the club

I truly cant see the two top Spanish clubs having him on their wanted list below those two I very much doubt any Spanish club would have the resources to fund the transfer

Their is only one likely destination in France, PSG one in Germany , Bayern a couple maybe three in Italy Juve and Inter and a remote possibility AC

So to the English clubs. Chelsea, the two Manchester clubs and a remote possibility is Arsenal.

Man City are clearly evolving in style and one of the major reasons Augero place in the team isn't now a given is they seem to be looking to mimicking Barca front three approach

Are Arsenal really going to break the bank? Some say they have vast reserves in the bank but the way they run their finances that some decreases as the season is played out also their board dictate that in relation to transfers they insist on having funds on deposit to pay outstanding
Add to that one of the requirements of the monies they still owe on the stadium leaves some but not a significant wriggle room in funds available . Yes it seem that their supposed best two players are off and whilst that will generate additional monies it's pretty obvious to me that they are going to have to undertake a major rebuild. Arsenal dont pay for players upfront clubs like City and Chelsea do.

Man Utd are a real possibility but if ibrahimovic stays , which he will if the qualify for the CL will they want him ? Or if they fail to qualify will RL want them?

So to Chelsea. They won't want him if Costa stays but will he stay? I personally think it's all agreed that he will go to China and by virtue of that there has been a nod and a wink and it seems they will qualify, as a minimum for next seasons CL.

IF he does go then I don't want him to stay in the PL, it makes no sense as a club with ambitions to get back to the top of the pile to strengthen one of your rivals..

arsenal could be a possibility if wenger is gone, but like @terraloon says, they're best two players look like they want out and they are starting to look like europa league candidates more and more now. So, they may not seem wholly attractive.
