Thought Rom was mouthing off about Martinez tactics in the press at one point and was also shown to be laughing in disbelief at the announcement of Martinez as Belgian manager?
You never cease to amaze me at how you reach such firmly entrenched views with so little information.
Maybe thats what he wanted. His last 3 tweets seem to be annoying the fanbase and we all know how intelligent he is, so im wondering if its a calculated step to get the fans to slowly turn and we all know what happens then.

Baines hasnt stopped rabbiting on about how he was treated under Martinez toward the end....he never wants to talk about it though, just wants to put it behind him....then he cranks the whinging up again...all to cover his own tracks and to make it look like he was the wronged party when IN FACT he initiated it all.
He's a cry arse and a snide. Never to be forgotten the way he downed tools at the end of last season. And the joke of it is that he's seen as the ultra loyal servant of the club when he was tanking last season.
Unreal.
He might pull the wool over yours and other people's eyes, but I have that feller weighed up to the nth degree.

I am sure he'll congratulate the U23's IRL, imo preferable over a tweet.
I don't think there is any transfer strategy involved in a innocent retweet, he'll do that during interviews.

I think most people are just, understandably, a bit annoyed about his recent performances.
Im not saying it isnt petty or childish, like why grown men tweet 'sign for us' at random players as if they are going to listen. However football fans are a strange breed and he's an intelligent guy who knows exactly what he's doing.
The fact that he never wanted to come here, always talked about leaving while he was here meant people couldnt really take to him and now he appears to be purposly trying to turn the fans against him.
What comments? A quick search brings up last season's comments on chemistry and nothing more. Apologies if I've missed some sly comments since then...I'm going to assume I haven't.
The team as a whole were half-assed for much of the end of that season. Try a bit of balance for once, ridiculously making it sound like Baines was the only one who downed tools. To keep it on topic Lukaku was dreadful also. For right or for wrong the players were not happy with the manager on the whole and stopped trying. Going on what you take as evidence for Baines I would have thought you would fairly include Lukaku in that also.
Pull the wool over my eyes....weighing him up... what are you on about. You have literally no idea what went on behind the scenes between any of the players and the manager. That's what I mean by so little information. Some quotes in the press and some crap performances in a team playing crap and you have your conclusion. Too much of this silly nonsense....speculation is all it is.

Then he goes on international duty and can't keep his gob shut.
Then he's sat in his pyjama's having digs at the press if the article says he's not defensive enough.
The bloke has the touch of a baby elephant and can't hold the ball up. For a bloke of his size, his heading ability is terrible.
Get shut and get shut quick. Invest in a mix of decent young talent with some accomplished players.
Make sure we recruit early.
