I love when managers/fans of other clubs come out with crap like that. Like the £80+ million we would get from selling Rom wouldn't go to bringing in 3-4 quality players who will improve the side and push on from those below.

We already have pulled right away from them. We're 13 points above West Brom and we've had an average season, whilst they've had a good season.

well. it's more a straw man fallacy; it substitutes actuality with speculation and makes conclusion extrapolated from the latter.

ie 'if Everton didn't have some good players, they would not be as good'

He's right.

no he's not. If we didn't have Lukaku we would have had an extra 50 to 60 million to replace him last Summer. Thats 50 million more than any of the chasing pack. We'd have been well ahead of Stoke either way.
