Romelu Lukaku

Alcaraz on about par with him sorry but I think he's awful. Probably only worse is Per "can't head" Koldorup.

Alcaraz did not contribute a single thing to this club, how can you say he's on a par with Williams who has been part of a defence that has a pretty decent record over 38 games? He's no long term solution but he's quite obviously better than Antolin Alcaraz.

Lukaku is good but a tit.

Look, im one his biggest critics, however im not going to turn against him when he moves to Chelsea.

He is a massive Chelsea fan and they just happen to be a quality team who win things
He left his boyhood club to join Chelsea, why would he stick around here?
He isnt just disrespecting us, he has always had a big mouth, Jose criticised him a few times when he was at Chelsea, so thats nothing new.
We always knew he was pretty much going to leave one day and now he's got a second chance to play for his boyhood club - most players couldnt turn that down.

We need to thank him for his goals, wish him well and move on - not turn into bitter shirt burners. There is more to life

Why have the club not made a comment about Lukaku shooting his gob off again yesterday?

The silence from the club since last season is very worrying imo.

Senior players wanting out, rumours of boardroom bust ups and no signs of any incoming players to bolster the 'project'.

Not looking good lids.

Must have missed these. What were the rumours?

I see John Collins is the latest to correctly identify Lukaku as the limited footballer he is.

"I’m not so sure if he has got the skills to play in tight situations and when you are playing in a top team you are often playing against packed defences, teams that get ten men behind the ball. But time will tell. I could be wrong.”

Exactly what I have been saying all along. When teams sit back and defend with 11 men behind the ball, you need players with excellent movement and technical skill or players who can hold onto the ball and protect it. They are the 2 worst aspects (aside from heading) of Rom's game.

Teams are not going to attack Chelsea like they would against us.
