Have just watched again yesterday's highlights, and what a centre-forward Rom is turning into, he is a real old-fashioned number 9 great holding up play, heading getting better, great movement and he seems a really nice bloke.
I hope he stays a long time, but those money clubs will be hunting him sooner or later, lets hope its later

Robbie Fowler, Michael Owen, Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo and Romelu Lukaku have all managed to score 50 Premier League goal before turning 23.

The Belgian international is still some way off from matching the exploits of the other members of this exclusive club but the mere fact that he belongs in such company is vindication for the scouts from Belgian Pro League side Lierse SK who, in 2004, snapped him up from his local team Rupel Boom; a club he joined at the tender age of five.

From Rupel Boom to Everton via Lierse SK, Anderlecht, Chelsea and West Brom, Lukaku’s career has been one of teenage promise and enormous goal returns. The 22-year old striker has scored goals everywhere he has been, save for that largely unfortunate £10 million, 15-game spell at Stamford Bridge.

I think he is now strting to show us the player he will become, and what a scary player that will be! My God, what this feller is going to be like when he is 28 or so beggars belief! Imagine Drogba with the cheating, whingeing gland removed! This feller will be twice that good! He in one we really have to just sit back and enjoy because he wont be with us much longer i dont think!

I am still not sure what his future holds, or indeed Evertons. If we get new owners who build a new stadium and intend on pushing for honours then there is every chance he will stay.

He had a very sobering experience at Chelsea which will have grounded him. A lack of ambition from us and yes I would not blame him for seeking other avenues but I would hope it isn'the a cut and dried scenario.

It's a brilliant listen. He's proper football mad.
Sadly though I have absolutely no doubt, he'll be gone sooner rather than later – but he's got the right attitude to really go all the way to the top.
Let's get a monster payout with a sell-on clause when that time comes.
