I agree with you- none of them would come to everton- which means lukaku leaving everton is a massive blow since his replacement is likely to be a (much) lower quality ST.
We must keep him here. He doesn't seem like the sort to sulk on the pitch if we did keep him, but I can definitely see him saying stuff to the media.
Lukaku is going nowhere.
He came out and said he was excited for next season with us and then a week later those quotes emerged from the belgian press.
Martinez and Lukaku have both said they havent spoken to Moshiri (at least recently). What would be the point of Lukaku doing a 180 turn on his comments?
I think Lukakus agent has advised him and theyre expecting a major wage increase as well as the promise of several top players signing this summer.
If Moshiri put in £50mil and also we had £50mil coming from the TV revenues (which also increase next season so we could actually leverage there) we would have £100mil available to strengthen and show the players we mean business.
Couldnt see him leaving if we do that.
We are basically going to have loads of money to spend in the summer, but have very few players wanting to join us. Fearing that we will end up with a few Niasse type signings. Players who were so far down our list that we haven't scouted them properly, and then pay way over the odds.
Its way too soon to judge Niasse.
Signs aren't promising though..
Are clubs really going to pay 50/60 million for him? Probably not, but if they do, then that money is capable of bringing in the likes of Lacazette/Yarmolenko and other types of strikers like Icardi. Its not all doom and gloom if he goes, could even see a switch in tactics
