Romelu Lukaku

He's a football agent - his main job is to sell his clients the best and most successful deals. I have no real problem with it all, it's not the most moral of jobs, but if i was able to make as much money as they do, i'd be the same.

The Journo tries so hard to pat plucky little Everton on the head and then adds this line :

"Yeah, like Bayern always jettison proven world-class strikers so they can get someone who has hacked it at West Brom and Everton."

Unluccccccccccccccccccky Andy you pipe hitting clown.

Are clubs really going to pay 50/60 million for him? Probably not, but if they do, then that money is capable of bringing in the likes of Lacazette/Yarmolenko and other types of strikers like Icardi. Its not all doom and gloom if he goes, could even see a switch in tactics

to be honest, probably. martial cost that sort of fee with an average scoring record with an average reputation. If you think of how many top class strikers there are in world football and how many are actually gettable if you're not barca, real, bayern or PSG - there are not that many around.

I was just going to add dont hold your breath.

Could you imagine a player talking like that then trotting back to their clubs in the era's of Shankly,Clough or even Ferguson....I think not.
Romelu Lukaku has saved Roberto Martinez's job so far this season. He isn't telling him a thing mate.

Rom has always come across like a very likeable and ambitious guy. If I was scoring 25 goals, yet finishing mid-table, in a club which I have no emotional connection to (other than through enjoying my time there), I would be looking for a move.

Only thing that can save us in this situation is @The Esk stated many times.

I'm not convinced it's certain he goes this summer. If we can demonstrate our ambitions early in the summer with signings and change of management I believe we can get another year to prove our worth.

He loves being here, he's the biggest fish in the pool, we just need to make the pool big enough to match his ambitions.

And of course you'd say it as confidence is ebbing away in the lead up to an FA cup semi final.
