Don't get me wrong - he's been an asset to the team - and seems a likeable fella - but if his head is turned we need to sell, grab the money and consider it good business. He doesn't see EFC as the sleeping giant that it is - if he bought into the history thing he'd be proud to represent us. No one person is a club - and even if we have cash these days - the amount we'd get for him could be well used to strengthen a number of positions.

On the other hand -if he decided he wanted to stay and share a new dawn with us I'd be made up!

Well rom won't do any harm in trying to improve his wages demands to the new club if he had a stormer tonight. Goals and motm could earn him an extra 20k a week plus a potential medal. Does this guy have any medals yet?

I have to be honest. Yes, Rom has scored 18 for us, but I am perfectly fine with being done with him and taking the money. To me, he has never really wanted to be at Everton, from what I see during the matches he has poor sportsmanship towards our team and openly blames others for missing or that they should have passed to him instead of trying themselves. His first touch has gotten a bit better, but its pretty clear to see when he's not interested in the match. My prediction is that this is just a lucky time for him, he's surrounded by a team that depends on him so he gets all the opportunities he wants. At any big club with other top players who want the ball just as much as him he won't see the ball or the goal as much.

Lets take the money and run before anyone notices that he is really a dud and get someone who is proud to be at Everton and wants to see Everton play european football, not play european football themselves.
