Based on his last 5 months of football I think Rom could be a bench warmer next season hopefully not at us, I would volley him out of finch farm for around the price we paid. His chances to goals ratio is poor, touch, and work rate.

Interesting to see Henry's analysis of his movement at half time. Implied that Rom's biggest problem is his failure to make intelligent runs.

Jelavic was our best striker in recent years to actually do this, or Beckford (making runs).

But because Jella missed everything after his purple patch he looked awful, but the truth of the matter is he made/ or got into more chances to miss than other strikers we have.

Rom is so static it hurts. Bundles a couple goals in vs Villa and thinks he's world class.

He wasn't great tonight and he'll know it, but neither too was De Bruyne or indeed Hazard. Felli too failed to make any real impact.
Rom was played as a lone striker and we all know that his back-to-goal play is far from his strongest point.

He's best when running onto through balls from Ross or Del, who in the Belgian side tonight was even trying to give him that kind of service? Just the once really when KdB set him free and his chip went wide.

So, he didn't have a good night, and neither did his replacement, Divi Orighi.

Forget his big-mouthed father and until something happens that leads to him leaving, he remains one of us and maybe, just maybe, we would do well to support him until it's certain he may be leaving... and purely on tonight's showing, that may not be for some time to come.

Team him with Ross and Del and we could/should get another 20+ goals from him next season... and RK might just sign or find a way to play him in a dual strike force with Mirallas or a.n.other?

Yeah but at Everton he's blaming teammates for himself being bad.

He deserves criticism for being bad too.

Still stand by the point he had far more movement though. He made many chances a game he SHOULD have scored. Rom doesn't do that, he does 'all or nothing'
