So it was Rom's fault all along and we got rid of a great young manager.
Ok fair enough you've just brought flashbacks of him being born offside.
Still stand by the point he had far more movement though. He made many chances a game he SHOULD have scored. Rom doesn't do that, he does 'all or nothing'
Especially when you're telling everyone your the best in the worldHe's being absolutely leathered by pundits, journalists and on social media.
That's what happens when you're on the big stage.
Can I ask that all those slagging Rom off just calm down a while ?
He wasn't great tonight and he'll know it, but neither too was De Bruyne or indeed Hazard. Felli too failed to make any real impact.
Rom was played as a lone striker and we all know that his back-to-goal play is far from his strongest point.
He's best when running onto through balls from Ross or Del, who in the Belgian side tonight was even trying to give him that kind of service? Just the once really when KdB set him free and his chip went wide.
So, he didn't have a good night, and neither did his replacement, Divi Orighi.
Forget his big-mouthed father and until something happens that leads to him leaving, he remains one of us and maybe, just maybe, we would do well to support him until it's certain he may be leaving... and purely on tonight's showing, that may not be for some time to come.
Team him with Ross and Del and we could/should get another 20+ goals from him next season... and RK might just sign or find a way to play him in a dual strike force with Mirallas or a.n.other?
Literally ruined his own reputation in about 3 months.Sorry mate but he brought this on himself because he likes to talk, along with his agent and dad. If you walk around claiming to be one of the worlds best you have to back it up.
The only players I can remember making such statements are Ronaldo and Ibrahimovic and Balotelli. Both Ronaldo and Ibra have proven over a number of years, clubs and the biggest stages why they earn the right to say it. The fact that Balotelli is not packing a full deck gives him a pass.
By all accounts Rom is an intelligent young man but he's making himself a laughing stock.
Undoubted talent, long way to go, lazy, brat, overrates himself. When paid a very high salary by your club you turn up on matchday. Can I ask that all those slagging Rom off just calm down a while ?

No, Martinez left him in a bin.So it was Rom's fault all along and we got rid of a great young manager.
It wasn't so much being lazy tonight, it was more his woeful inability to control a football. We'll be lucky to see the £28 million we gave for him, if he continues to play like this. Seems his laziness isn't just a playing for EFC thing!
"His ego is writing cheques his body can't cash"
Stop belittling us to the press, drop the ego, get your head down and work. Potential is nothing if you don't apply yourself. Sort it Rom.
