have to disagree, I would point to the awful previous two seasons which did the standing of our club immeasurable damage.

How long are we going to blame Martinez? Seriously. The guy was fired before the end of last season. We finished a place behind Chelsea. It honestly didn't make a difference to attracting players or our readyness for the start of this season.

He has become the bogey man that people are blaming to deflect from the mistakes of others and by the end I was definitely no fan of his.

It's far from none sense. I suggest you google the Webster ruling from that ineffect what lead to the change to FIFA rules regarding players and why another poster talks about article 17.

I look forward to your future and dare I say more informed posting when you take a look at the regulations.

Players have invoked this provision but as I said earlier the players have more of an impact when they threaten to invoke for the financial implications to the club can be vast

Name me one transfer where a player left his club when he had two years left on his deal and the buying club only had to pay compensation.

I think the situation perhaps could have been handled better. He has been moaning for ages about a CL club
We set a price for him and perhaps should have got as much as we could for him a few months ago.
I think part of Koemans agreement to come to us was transfer funds and keeping hold of players, so he is either staying or going
it seems to be in limbo which is unsettling for the team

We need to be ruthless he either signs, or we sell him simple as that and this decision should have been on the clubs terms not his
