Imagine how many goals we'd score as a team (therefor winning more points and being higher up the table) if our striker could do one of the most basic things a footballer should be able to do to a better than 50% ratio of good touch to bad touch.

But that doesn't matter cause he's 22 and score loads of goals anyway so there is no room for improvement or criticism of anything.

Rom is boss, hold up play and first touch is just the means to the end of putting the ball in the net. Rom does this more than most strikers in Europe and more than most strikers in Everton's history yet he's getting stick for his first touch? He's going to bag about 30 goals this season if he carries on at the same rate. Only top strikers turn in those numbers NEA.
