People acting like their Lukaku's mar being all defensive an getting all frustrated cos a few Everton fans aren't brown nosing an ex player. Who's arsed ?
Runs around a lot but not actually achieving anything = 100% unwavering support from the Park Enders.theres a lack of objectivity to our fanbase which is quite off putting to be honest
We don't need any of this tippy tappy nonsense we need players that will run through brick walls for us !!!!!
I wonder how many of the usual suspects in this thread rejoiced when he got stretchered off last night.
That's one way to look at it. But even if you're not really passionate about the club you're playing for you can do a lot better than he has concerning his attitude and his behaviour. The most telling scene about him when he tried to knick that amazing goal off Tom Davies against ManCity last season. I don't think we're necessarily better off without him when it comes to football but his personality is certainly not missed. Don't want to see egomaniacs like him in a royal blue shirt. Does that make sense to you?
Another example is the goal against Boro last season.
Bolasie centred it and Lukaku went for it...the ball winds up in the net and Rom immediately starts pointing the finger at himself, signalling his claim to have got a touch.
No matter how often I look at that goal, I still think there was no touch and that Yala should have had the credit.
Even the other players rush to congratulate Bolasie lol
He also let the ball roll in when Tom Davies scored that cracker against City. Wasn't all selfish.
Watch it again, he tried hard to get a touch, lifted his finger right away to signal he was the scorer and the commentator later on says that he tried to claim it for himself.
Bollocks.
