This is what I don’t get mush. A football club where its fans hold it hostage! You have a major clean out to do with your supporters. They want their best players sold! Mental!

Nobody wants our best players sold. Just some can't admit that we aren't good enough to keep hold of them.
 
Mushes Everton are a gigantic club and one that is a great of English football but to your average young foreign player now they’ve not seen Everton win anything and only for money, Champos League and their ego. If you want them you got to give them what they want or reduce your sights. Everton had a top class striker in Lukaku for a few years but it seems a chunk of yous resent him for it and think yous are better off without him! You got to control your mentals!

That's one way to look at it. But even if you're not really passionate about the club you're playing for you can do a lot better than he has concerning his attitude and his behaviour. The most telling scene about him when he tried to knick that amazing goal off Tom Davies against ManCity last season. I don't think we're necessarily better off without him when it comes to football but his personality is certainly not missed. Don't want to see egomaniacs like him in a royal blue shirt. Does that make sense to you?

Mush you criticising a striker trying to score goals? I think you are going to be a bit disappointed in the modern game if you dont like egomaniacs!

Hell yes, I criticise him if he tries to touch the ball when it's already above the goal line. I don't think I'll have to be disappointed, there are plenty of relatively selfless strikers out there who still get their fair share of goals. When I see the likes of Aubameyang or Lewandowski, world class strikers in their own right and both not exactly passionate about the clubs they are playing for but yet they are putting in a shift every single match and try to benefit their teams every way they can. And that's what Rom was desperately lacking. I wouldn't mind him proving me wrong but if he never learns that then he will always be known for not fulfilling his potential which is doubtlessly enormous.

Also, I don't mind players being eccentric and a bit full of themselves off the pitch. But it shouldn't translate to the actual work they're paid to do. Maybe I'm hypocritical, though, that's not for me to judge. For example, I don't really care about Wazza being an utter prick off the pitch if he continues to bring it for our beloved EFC.

Edit: I understand where you're coming from, maybe I'll just have to stop being too idealistic about football but I haven't wrapped my head around it yet, oijda.
