Liked him when he was here and thought he improved season upon season.
But he does seem to have stalled out for whatever reason, doesn’t look the same player that was top scorer in the Europa league for us or the one who did this

I know what you mean mate and most of these guys are just passing through so maybe we should not take it so personally and I am always ok with a guy trying to better himself. The CL is a boss competition, who would not want a bit of that?
But he showed little or no appreciation of Everton’s role in his development, little or no appreciation of fans who gave him good support and he constantly spoke about better things, without the simple courtesy of adding something like « but I am at a cracking club now » which imo is not that much to ask for. Not very well-mannered or respectful to a decent club and passionate ticket- buying fans. And cost us a great chance to win cup....
So when he shows up , plays crap and gets skinned by players he was “too good to play with” he deserves the stick he gets. He won’t care. Him and Pogba will have called Minola to get their moves and they will be having a good moan about how rubbish their team mates and OGS are!!!!

We got Bolaise a year before we sold Lukaku? In fact the only player we got in the window after selling Lukaku was Siggy, who was a good buy, so really we didnt waste the Rom money at all

Yeah but we also sold Barry, Del, Barkley and Cleverley for about 30m which covered those 2. The Lukaku money wasnt wasted, we just played awful under Koeman
His goal runs did seem to be quite patchy for us and it isn’t particularly unusual for strikers anyway.
He was never going to be the best with his back to goal but he does seem to have lost some of his quick reactions and accuracy. Perhaps as you say it is lack of the same hunger (for football at least
) or complacency. He did also play a hell of a lot of games/hours at a very young age - especially with his frame perhaps it just takes a toll even though he is still young.Feel it a bit of a shame tbh, he always had his weaknesses but enjoyed watching an on form Rom.
He was a far better player when he was with us. He was absolutely woeful today. Literally offered nothing and his effort looked pretty poor.
His size just doesn't look right. He's slow and looks to have lost his agility. I don't understand why he bulked up so much. Was it a personal decision, was it Mourinho?

Just awful planning when we end up with 3 brand spanking new numbers 10s and Cuco Martina starting at left back.
Still not sure who was making which decisions that summer so unclear whether to add that on to Walsh's rap sheet or was it the Quatermass-headed Lego-man-who-came-to-life.
