He was the same at Chelsea, he hasn't got a big club (or game) mentality. He looked good at us and WBA because if he had a bad game he could blame others. This takes the pressure off of him and he looks a player. Sadly we all knew he would be ripped to shreds by the utd fans and so it has proved. We knew he had a bad first touch and prone to shocking misses (esp. with his head), but I don't remember seeing any videos made by Everton supporters pointing it out like that. Just sad really.
 

Bit shocked at Utds lack of professionalism in allowing him to bulk up / gain weight to that degree.

Doesn't say much for Mourinho and Solskjaer clearly hasn't addressed the issue, either.

Perhaps from here on we should refer to Lukaku as "United" in the same derogatory tone that they themselves called Moyes "Everton", as in "I've seen Everton in the car park".

They were getting at a perceived lack of professionalism and high standards with that jibe, and a similiar criticism is apt here, on United's part, not Lukaku's.

Serves him right... arrogant beyond belief. What a deluded idiot.... I do recall a video coming put after the fa cup semi.... it was embarrassing.

And how do you think the attacking midfielders will do?

Well.... we know the answer to that. Not very well.

He can't be carried.... literally. The centre forward needs to be able to play football.... Pep was going to offload Aguero if he didn't drop and help the build up play or press from the front. What makes you think we could excuse lukaku those duties?

Odd one isnt it? His stats still look decent, but his shortcomings are there for all to see. Would a Juve or the Milan teams alter their shape to play to his strengths, or would they expect him to fit into their systems? Or would he actually suit either of them anyrate?

Dunno me.
