To me, pressing with energy is just a symptom of a team playing well. It was there in the second half of Koeman's first season, and either side of the dreadful winter slump under Silva. These days, I think it's only your Dyche/Allardyce ultra-defensive types that actively encourage their teams to sit deep and conserve energy, in England at least.
 
Has anybody considered that the real reason for Big Rom wanting to go to Italy, isn't football related at all...maybe he just really loves pasta dishes...

Hope he dosent go to be honest, still hope we can get 6th next season and if United do sell him chances are they will be strionger with a quality replacement

Lukaku doesn't guarantee you beat crap teams..... it just that he's more likely to score against crap teams. No matter who you play - your team is far more vulnerable to the counter attack with lukaku in it. He may score but I guarantee he and his shins will give them a steady supply of the ball.

How would he have got 15-20 for us? He doesn't create goals himself, our attacking mids only got into threatening positions and situations through DCL doing the hard work and bringing them into play.

Lukaku is not suited to our side.

the RS at goodison? The one where DCL. Bernie and Richarlison pinned their defenders back.... yeah was cryoling out for Rom that game.

I think it's more "I can't believe how many more points we didn't get despite his goals" that's the key......

Expert at scoring when 1 or 2 nil up.
