Yeah buts thats what he wanted, it was always his long term plan, Everton was his stepping stone, just like West Brom was.
If he got back to playing football maybe but his head is all wrong, he allows himself to be distracted, too easy to blame Pogba. Thing is with Pogba he seemed to at least try towards the end of last season, stopped getting a fresh hair cut every time they played and all that nonsense, while at the same time Rom had started talking about moving to Italy. If he coudnt take Manchester United serious we had no chance.

I'm not really blaming Pogba as much as saying Rom looked at him as an example of what he could be. Now they are both jokes. Real Madrid is going to be shocked going from the professionalism of Kroos and Modric to the antics of Pogba if that's the route they choose.

What exactly is Pogba supposed to have done in this scenario? I thought they were friends while Lukaku was still at Everton.

Won't happen, he peaked with us and is not getting any younger. There is also the chance that as an early starter age wise he'll go downhill physically earlier too. He won't be able to use his experience to off-set FatherTime as he is lacking in basic technical skills and a true footballing brain.
 


Still don't get why is Conte so obsessed with Lukaku, he wanted him in Chelsea too. I mean they still got Icardi, i rather keep Icardi then pay 90 million or so for Lukaku
