Whatever it is, it's incredibly frustrating. I'm not advocating using it in the medium to long term, however in the short term it's worth the risk.

Been sticked with this for more than 3 years. Did Moyes play this towards the end of his time here too? Or do we have the players who can accommodate any other formations?

seen as they've won two titles and a cup or two in the last 5 years, currently have Pep Guardiola as manager and are sitting near the top still i don't think they'll be that arsed

You need to have at least one defender with pace and one defender who's good on the ball to play with 3 centre backs though. Our 3 senior centre backs don't have any of those attributes between them.
