We're due a couple of good performances then. Clearly saving them for Arsenal and Liverpool

City are on a shocking run. It happens. If we go into mid January and this form has continued then I'll be sitting up thinking we're in trouble. Right now I'm more than happy to give him time to sort it out.

I didn't want him in the first place but he's here now so we've got to make the most of it.

I want to say I believe you but i'm struggling.

My mate works at Finch Farm .He said in training they all look very happy and appear to work hard, unlike the end of the Martinez reign when there was a cloud over the place. Could it be that some players are past it, some aren't arsed and some simply aren't good enough ?

When Bobby started the talk was of how cheerful everyone was, how Bobby was enthusiastic for everyone and everything down to the dinner lady and how happy this made everyone feel.

Talk is cheap. Out there on the pitch, that's where the action is.

Often seems that playing a young player can help with that - their youthful enthusiasm can give the rest of the squad a pick-me-up.

Of course if it goes pear shaped then you have the same problems plus a youngster who has a confidence crisis...

Ive tried my best to bad mouth Tom Davies as much as possible, thats normally the key for somebody to be boss, so its all set up for the boy to shine, ive done my bit.

But nah, our fans have got no time for that. We'll just get a new manager in every 3 months and see where that takes us instead.

Koeman is going to have to go some in the transfer market. Does he have a vision? If so it can't include the present Everton pool of players.

His acquisitions so far do not bode well, however. Bolasie? Valencia? Williams? These are not "vision" players.

We have to give him his chance. We have no choice really.
