People call for him to play the kids... and then moan when he plays the kids...
Absolute rubbish that Toff, rubbish.
There is absolutely a time for kids and throwing him on here and there for the experience. Great. Fantastic even.
We had completely lost our way today and needed to get hold of the ball. Someone who could seize back a bit of initiative.
I'm not Kevin's biggest fan by any stretch but it was the most logical substitution.
The poor kid looked absolutely lost.
It was a ridiculous substitution.

We've gone from a team that can outplay, out pass, out maneuver any team we come up against... to a team that can just about scrape a shot on target per game.

The manager, one of the very best paid ones at that, should be doing so much more to get the goodness out of this squad.

Right now we quite literally play the worst football in the league, there is no question about that.

He's been here 2 minutes.... he's assessed the squad by now... let's see what he does in January before hanging out to dry. Personally I believe a manager needs at least 2 seasons to build his own team. Unless of course you're battling team drop.. which we are far from doing at the moment.

He has been here 2 minutes, and I'm not calling for him to canned I'm just stating a fact about the crowd. We have an extremely vocal fan base when things go bad.

The issue I have with him is the style of football which is apparent wit every manager from the off whether you have the players or not. Klopp added a lot of running and pressing, Bobby was all about the ball and possession, Jose is organisation, pep is total football etc etc koemans is a lot of long balls with little attempts at the opposition goal.

He needs a radical rethink about how he approaches games because that's where the unrest will come from

We need to sack koeman now and get moyes back. Hes the best manager in the league outside the top clubs. He consistently over achieved and seemed to to give a f@ck about the club when he was here. For f@cks sake he got the united job on the back of what he did for us. Fans hold a grudge because he came back for some of our best players..so what..koeman is an out and out mercenary..doesn't give a [Poor language removed] about Everton..only concerned about using us to get a bigger job. Koeman spent 28 million on bolaise!! A player he always admired! Says it all about his judgement. Thats nearly as bad as that dud we signed from the russian league. Ok..football wasnt always brilliant under moyes..but he was pragmatic..do what u need to do to get a result. Thats what we need...with money and some time hes a better option than the pretender we have

Love the idea that this guy will be managing Barcelona or Arsenal one day.

Imagine them just completely ditching the ingrained football philosophies those clubs now have by hiring this dinosaur.

and he did eff all at UTD with more money, he's not a bad manager but he's best at solidifying teams in midtable. He wouldn't be able to do more than that. Will Koeman win anything? Maybe, maybe not, but Moyes had 10 years to try. Koeman should at least get the next two windows to shape the squad. Everyone on here harped on about Martinez ruining the team and club...if Martinez was that awful, it'll take Koeman more than 6 months to fix it

Thats a salient point. This is a manager who is one of, Im going to guess here, the top 10 best paid managers in WORLD FOOTBALL. And THIS is how he is setting the team up? I really don't get it. He goes on about how we need better fitness, yet here we are at the end of December and the team is completely knackered by the 55th minute. We play the most GOD awful football in the Premier League. You can't say all the time it's ALL on the players.

Remember when we absolutely schooled Arsenal at Goodison a couple seasons back, outplaying them with classy and slick passing football. Some proper ole football.

We have more or less same players now and can't string together multiple passes.
remember when people were booing when we were 3 nil up Against QPR?

Do you see Barca and other top sides get the ball and boot it away hoping it will fall to someone to score? No

Why don't you? Because they know how to play winning football
